Jarak Abstrak

Ada gedung tinggi, tetapi ada yang membebani bahu.

Selalu ada jarak yang harus ada.
Antara satu orang dengan orang lain.
Antara satu kendaraan dengan kendaraan lain.
Antara satu gerakan dengan gerakan lain.
Antara satu tempat dengan tempat lain.
Antara satu kelas dengan kelas lain.
Antara satu jarak dengan jarak yang lain.
Antara satu hal dengan hal yang lain.

Memang sepantasnya begitu. Tetapi terkadang, jarak itu menempatkan diri seenaknya saja. Melempar jauh yang di depan, membuang jauh yang terbelakang. Jarak itu terkadang tidak tahu tempat. Jarak itu terkadang lupa mengukur dirinya sendiri.

Tetapi terkadang kesalahan juga bukan hanya dari jarak itu sendiri. Terkadang jarak itu memang tidak mengerti bagaimana harusnya menempatkan dirinya sendiri. Terkadang makhluk hidup pun yang lupa mengatur jarak itu sendiri. Lupa pada sesama dan dirinya sendiri. Lupa dengan jarak yang di antaranya. Terkadang manusia yang bertingkah. Terkadang manusia tidak memanfaatkan otaknya sebagai pusat saraf dari seluruh tubuh secara benar, untuk membantu dirinya mempertimbangkan segala kemelut hidup dan membantu dirinya menyeimbangkan jarak yang daritadi saya bicarakan. Saya bicara tentang materi, tentang sisi psikologis, dan sebagainya.

Kalau yang saya dengar dari seseorang bernama "Sudjiwo Tedjo", hidup berawal dari sebuah pertanyaan. Kemudian saya berpikir lagi, dan menemukan bahwa akhir dari hidup kita sendiri juga menjadi sebuah pertanyaan. Satu hari mungkin kita lalui tanpa amarah. Tetapi tidak mungkin kita lalui tanpa pertanyaan. Satu hari mungkin kita lalui tanpa jawaban jelas, tetapi tidak mungkin kita lalui tanpa pertanyaan. Dan kali ini.. Saya pun juga ingin mengajukan pertanyaan ini pada Anda..

That was how it looks like on the New Year's Eve around Kelapa Gading roundabout. I was in La Piazza with my brother. It was a last-minute decision. I finally chose to take some pics around La Piazza (catching some great fireworks) for new year.

So here are the fireworks.
It kept smashing until 15 minutes after the countdown ended.

It was my first time taking pics of this kind of fireworks. Well it was tiring, but fun ; )

Well guys, all I have to say is HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011! I can't write a lot. Yea, maybe this is one of my resolutions for 2011. I gotta practice more to improve my writing. To improve my English. Hahaha. I guess I'd be writing my new-year-post afterward in Indonesian language, regarding that I am Indonesian ;) Huh there are tons of things to say here. To talk about.

Okay pals, enjoy 2011! I believe life must be more difficult, but I also believe that you must be able to struggle harder. And to reach your dreams by efforts, and prayers.

Well they've made it!

Too Late

I know it's too late. But I really want to say "MERRY CHRISTMAS" to all of you guys ;)
Sorry for this total mess. I was too busy with lots of new things. I even.. Forgot that this blog belongs to me.

Well, I just wish you had already had your precious moments this Christmas ;)

Let me tell you a bit about mine.
I went to Puncak with my family, aunts, uncles, grandma, and my cousins. My dad just got a villa to stay in when the capital city seems to be too busy in some particular periods. Yeah so we decided to go there on the 24th, then we were back on the 26th.

It was kinda weird that we played with some fireworks instead of something-more-christmas-y. Yeah it felt like new year. And that's my brother, by the way.

Well that's all about my Christmas.
I thought it'd be a gloomy Christmas before. But man, it's Christmas! There's no such thing as gloomy Christmas. I thank God for everything. I thank God for letting Jesus came to me through the people around me.

Well I had been spending these days with them to rehearse for a competition, which made us won the 3rd place. We usually rehearse every Monday, but there are lots of events we perform on these days, so we practice more.

Cold Beers, Cigarettes, and The Blues

Jakarta Blues Festival
I came on Saturday, 16th of October 2010.
Nothin' but the blues.

I was there for about 6-7 hours. But the thing is I just got in the crowd of 4 performances. I heard some of the others, and they were all great. Unfortunately, I didn't get any chance to see Rama Satria and The Electric Mojos with Lance Lopez on Friday, 15th of Oct.

Well I know they don't play Blues but they were great. One of them was graduated from my school, St Ursula SHS. And the photo above is probably the only one that looks better than the others.


Soulmate
They're from Shillong, India. They're Rudy Wallang and Tipriti K. Bangar. They both sing and know how to show the magic of Blues but for me.. Tips (that's how Tipriti makes her name shorter) surely knows how to entertain people. I even still love her voice when she's screaming like.. "Aww!". Remarkable.

The S.I.G.I.T
I didn't get any good pictures of all of the members because I was in crowd and I'm not as tall as the others there. It quite irritated me but as long as I can still enjoy the music, it doesn't count as a problem. Well above is the photo of Rekti. As usual, they successfully made everyone shook their head to the beat.

Unconsciously Uploaded

Well this is kinda weird. These photos were actually photos I took when I went to the Car Free Day in May if I'm not mistaken.

As some of you know, I lost my laptop a few days after I saved these photos there. And what I remember the most is, I've never uploaded these pictures to my account in photobucket. I just used photoshop to edit them, but then I left my laptop and after two days.. it's gone.

But the funny thing is it apparently appears on photobucket. So I just decided to post it here. Though it might be too late.

Those are some people who were wearing something which made them become much taller (?). Well I guess they meant to show how education is needed by wearing uniforms. It's very interesting.

Hmm, I'm outta words.
